Start time 10.00a.m. Sponsored by Henselite, and hosted by the Cheshire C.B.A., 64 qualifiers from the County Bowling Associations come together at the Lostock Alkali B.C., Lostock Gralam, Northwich, to compete in one of the premier individual competitions of the B.C.G.B.A. calendar.

All-Britain Junior Merit. Start time 10.30a.m. Sponsored by Greenmaster Ltd. of Liverpool, the venue this year is Beaufort Sports & Social Club, Coleshill Road, Birmingham, when 32 Junior County qualifiers will be contesting the championship.
